1999 Monopoly Pen Acme Studios Rare

I'm going to be honest here. I had no idea what this pen was or what it was worth. I had purchased it from a yard sale last weekend and I'm so glad I did! I'm sure they knew nothing about it as well with the price I had snagged it for. It's a very exciting piece that I ever found at a yard sale!  To me I believe the pen has never been used but just to be safe, I have it priced below than what it's worth. I don't even want to touch it or mess with it after finding out how much it's worth. I have no clue how it works and I was planning on selling it on ebay anyways. I just didn't think it was worth this much.  Here's some details from my point of view. The tin has that small scratch in the back as well as a very tiny dent. Most likely from the old lady running the yard sale. But nothing too serious though. The pen looks great and the instructions looks like it's never been read. What you see in the photos is what you'll be receiving. This is all that it came with when I had purchased it.

This "Monopoly" Edition Finished Roller Ball Pen was inspired by the Monopoly Board Game. Originally manufactured in 1999, this pen is no longer in production and is no longer available for sale to the open market. All of the tools and screens used to manufacture this pen were destroyed and none will ever be made again. ACME Studio writing instruments are well designed with a comfortable weight and shape. Pens are constructed using metal barrels with hand applied color images - the finest lacquers are used. Quality manufacturing is demonstrated by metal-to-metal threading. ACME Studio has a habit of producing limited editions and/or discontinuing products and destroying the molds - this causes items to become very unique and collectible.
