    Description

    Recent discovery in the office of a building used by the Hastings Pirates Motorcycle Club is this : American Motorcycle Association Safety Award Banner SHIPPING BOX Dated Feb. 15, 1959 with U.S. Postage of 23 cents. The AMA banners were manufactured by The Athletic Specialty Co. 74 South Fourth St. Columbus, Ohio. The cardboard box has been opened but has the original address label and postage stamp as shown in our photos.  This would make a terrific display piece next to an authentic AMA Safety Award Banner.
