    Description

    Liberia Gibbons # 10-12, Issued in 1867.  For some reason Scott does not list the 4th transfer of the first issue, but they leave a gap in the catalog numbers.  But Gibbons does. Also listed and described in Cockrill, Von Saleski and Rogers.  Distinctive very thin prelure white wove paper, outer frame line but placed close together on the sheet so that the frame lines almost run together and single stamps sometimes appear to have double lines on one or more sides, at other times appear to have no frame line at all.  Pale colors.     von Saleski has this set with a higher CV than the three sets in Scott.
