:  This is a Repair Service for your existing malfunctioning amp plate.  You send us your malfunctioning amp plate and we repair it and send it back to you.  It is
not
the outright purchase of a new or used replacement amp plate, or a trade-in for a replacement amp plate.  You will receive back the same amp plate that you send us, only repaired, updated and functioning as new.
This a flat rate repair service for the Mackie SWA1501 Amp powered subwoofer amplifier plate.

has repaired, rebuilt and reconditioned hundreds and hundreds of Mackie units, and will get yours working quickly.  Simply do a "Buy It Now" and once you have completed checkout, we will respond and send you detailed removal and shipping instructions and an address to ship your malfunctioning amp plate (in
Chicago
area).  We will repair it, test it to factory specs, and notify you that it is repaired. We will ship it back to you, generally within 1-3 business days from when it is received. With shipping time included, you should have it back in about 7-10 days. Our service comes with a 90 day warranty.
You will have to remove the vertical amplifier plate and send that to us.  As part of our removal and shipping instructions, we will send you the Mackie SWA1501 Service Manual which will assist you in removal and reinstallation.  We also ask you to visually examine the main circuit board, as when these amps fail, burning components can sometimes cause burning on the circuit board. Small isolated burns in the circuit board can almost always be repaired, but major sizable burn-through holes on the circuit board may not be repairable.  Fortunately, such large burn areas are very rare on the model, and we almost never see a unit that cannot be repaired.  If you have any questions about this, please send us a message or photo describing the size and location of the visual burning/charring damage.
You will also need to make sure that your speaker is not shorted or partially shorted, as this might cause the amp plate to fail again. Usually, this is not a problem, but needs to be checked, and we will advise you on how to do this. We will send you a document that with detailed instructions on how to test your speaker.
The shipping cost back to you is for continental US customers only. We will gladly service Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and international customers, but please request a quote before buying due to the higher return shipping charges.
Our flat rate repair service includes replacing any and all defective parts including capacitors and restoring the unit to original operation.  The one exception to this is the power transformer.  New power transformers for this unit are no longer available, but fortunately, failures in the power transformer are very, very rare on this unit.
