Madame LeBrun & Daughter Ornate Self Portrait Plate

Very nice Rococo
Neoclassical style self portrait plate of Elisabeth Vigee Lebrun ( Prominent French artist, also known as Madame Lebrun 1700-1800's) and daughter Julie. Looks like the piece is partially hand painted with a transfer "E Lebrun" signature on the front. Colors on the piece are brilliant. Border is very ornate with beautiful gold gilding. Piece measures 12" across x 11" top to bottom. Marked on the back "RW Bavaria"(Rudolf Wachter, born in late 1800's). Mark first used in 1928.  Also stamped in green "Made in Germany". I am not aware how old the piece is. Piece in superb condition, with no cracks, chips, or hairlines. Some very light normal scratches around the gold boarder. Very nice addition to your collection!
