Description
From a collectors inventory. No marks or blemishes. Ooen for display. Number 32 of 500.The Retro 51 #119 Train rollerball pen features a design inspired by one of the most historically significant trains of all time, #119, that pulled in to Promontory Point from the east to meet the Jupiter train from the west. The momentous completion of the 1st transcontinental railroad was commemorated by the now famous Golden Spike Ceremony.
The red and black pen design is accented by white elements, and finished with antique brass colored trim. This release follows a previous production of the Retro 51 JUPITER. The #119 Train pen's new design coordinates with it's partner pen, but the barrel design features etching that adds depth to the classic train details like the cow catcher, the wheels, and the bell. The train's number, #119, is featured both near the pen tip and again near the clip.
The Limited Edition Retro 51 #119 train pen is limited to 510 pens, which is appropriate since this train went down in history for its appearance at the momentous Golden Spike Ceremony on May 10, 1869.
