TWO Vintage PARKE DAVIS Boxed Apothecary Medicinal Herbs
This lot includes
Broom
and
Lovage Root
herbs. Boxes are sealed and contents are still inside.
Some specks of dried herbs may escape the box during shipping. I do not know the exact age of these packages.

FUN FACT: These apothecary herbs came from the Woodbury & Co. Pharmacy, in Danville, IL. The business opened in 1846 and closed in 2016. During the mid-to-late 1800's it was located next to the Great Western Railroad. History of the building states that Abraham Lincoln, when he was a railroad lawyer, stopped at this pharmacy/mercantile to buy medicine, books, and stationary. These herbs, along with hundreds of leftover medicine bottles & medical supplies, were recently auctioned and I was lucky enough to have won some.

box measures approximately 2.75" x 1.5" x 1.5".
Lovage Root
box measures approximately 2" x 2" x 1".
