Vintage / Antique Hungarian ZSOLNAY PORCELAIN VASE - MINT!

Description

This  unique piece was  produced by the world famous ZSOLNAY CERAMIC FACTORY  of Hungary, that was founded by Miklos Zsolnay (1800-1880) in 1853.
His son Vilmos Zsolnay (1828-1900) joined the operation in 1863 and made the factory into the world famous ceramic firm we know today.
Luckily for the US based art collectors, rare Zsolnay pieces are usually undervalued in the US, compared to the European markets.
Its material is commonly called "porcelain faience" but according to experts for this piece the more accurate term is "riolith porcelain."

This vase was purchased in Europe from a private collection.
